Highway 99 was closed for nine days while the southern section of the Alaskan Way Viaduct was torn down. Took the opportunity to take a walk along the vacant thoroughfare and snap some night shots.
I’ve always wanted to shoot this plant at night. My opportunity finally came when the highway was shut down for nine days!

On that very same walk, I stumbled upon Seattle’s own superhero- the one and only Phoenix Jones.
