Finally got around to bringing the strobes out for some shots. CMG wanted an image depicting Monique on a typical workday. I got to thinking how to best frame her, the photog and the live truck. This is what I came up with.
Lighting setup:
AB800 cam left 9-o-clock @ 1/2 power through large softbox
AB800 cam left 11-o-clock @ 1/2 power through large softbox
AB800 cam right 5-o-clock @ 1/8 power (bare)
AB800 cam left 11-o-clock @ 1/2 power (pointed at rear of live truck)
Workday
I’ve been planning a broadcast-themed photoshoot for a while now. Here’s one of the first images.
Rural
On a trip down to Eugene for my dad’s birthday, the skies opened up for a few moments just North of Eugene. Exited the highway to take advantage of the awesome light.
Commute
Traffic was rough last week due to all the rubberneckers on 520 staring at the lineup of boats. The resulting backups quadrupled my 15 minute commute. Took a moment to whip out the 50mm while stopped in traffic.
